Activities

Key areas of the Centre's activity:

expansion of exchanges between both countries, especially in the field of teaching and scientific research;
developing awareness of Taiwan and its historical and cultural heritage;
broadening the knowledge and level of understanding of Asian affairs among Polish scientists.

The most important task of the project is to develop academic exchange and research in the world where the science is increasingly transnational. Taiwanese researchers will visit the Jagiellonian University giving lectures to students, as well as strengthening contacts with Polish researchers of Asia. The project involves the development of research activities, with particular emphasis on research on problems in Asia, conducted from European and Asian perspectives. We would like also to join the international scientific discussion in this area by organizing scientific meetings and through publications.
